In our micropub, we specialise in selling high quality craft beers. These are all available to drink in the pub or can be purchased from the fridges as take out beers.

Welcome to The Beer Lab – we are a micropub based in Heswall on the Wirral peninsula. We have been trading since 2018 and have built up an excellent reputation locally as purveyors of quality craft beers and fine ales.
We regularly stock over 50 different types of beers and alcoholic beverages, available in cans, bottles and even kegs!
There is a wide range of different beers and beverages showcasing the UK, Europe and USA’s best brewers. Our range includes styles such as: IPAs, Porter, Stout, Sour, Golden, Pale, Blonde, Trappist and even options for buying beer in bulk.
We work alongside a number of breweries, both locally and nationally who are award winning and real artisans in the brews they create.
In addition to our wide and varied range of craft beers, we also stock a selection of ciders, wines and non-alcoholic beers. Additionally, in our pub, we also have a number of other spirts and mixers available, such as whisky, gins and vodka.
As previously mentioned, we are a local micropub and at the core of our business is being a part of our local community, Heswall.
Many of our customers have now become regulars and will attest to the community feel we have built up since opening the micropub. So if you are new to the area or just visiting Wirral, even if you’ve lived here a lifetime please do pop in and say hello.
